Shipping Policy

Certain furniture items may require assembly and if so, then it is noted. In these cases, assembly is available at an additional cost.

It is our intention to have every item as advertised in stock. Should certain items be unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will gladly issue a rain check at your request. Rain checks do not apply to special offers or to limited supply items such as holiday ornaments. We reserve the right to limit quantities on sale merchandise.

All products sold are subject to availability. Actual colors and finishes of products viewed on-line on website may vary from actual items. Sam Flax cannot be responsible for variations in colors or finishes. If color and finish is critical then we suggest you view products at actual Sam Flax locations. Sam Flax is not responsible for typographical errors or omissions.

Return Policy   Each SAM FLAX location, including internet sales, is independent. We try to accommodate customers by ordering items from other SAM FLAX locations when we are out of stock or if an item is not available in a specific store. However returns, if allowed, must be made at store of actual purchase.   Only Certain Merchandise (see exceptions below) Purchased from SAM FLAX STORES may be Returned for Exchange, Store Credit, or Refund and only when accompanied by an original sales or Gift Receipt within 14 days of the original purchase date.   Messenger, Computer, Backpacks, Business, Cloth or Leather Bags, Wallets, Purses, Business Card Case & Similar Accessories, Backpacks, Boxed Stationery, Fine Pens, and Travel items may only be exchanged within 7 days of original purchase date.   Only stocked furniture or lighting items (not special order or drop shipments) are eligible for exchange only, no refund, and within 7 days and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Eligible furniture or lighting exchanges and must be in new condition with original packaging intact.   ANY items that may be returned or exchanged will only be accepted if product is unused and only if original labeling and packaging is intact.   Refunds, if applicable, are issued by same method as purchase was made.   The Following Items May NOT Be Returned or Exchanged: Presentation Products, Light Boxes, Portfolios, Backpacks, Easels, Easel Binders, Ring or Screw Post Binders, Refills, Inserts, Sleeves, Books, Ink or Paint Markers, Marker Pens, Pen Refills, Bulletin or Marker Boards, Photo Paper, Individual Sheets of Paper, Cards & Envelopes, Foam Core, Museum or Illustration Board, Cut Matting or Paper,  Spray Can Products, Paint Tubes or Paint Sets, Brushes, Pencils, Charcoals, Watercolors, Sketch or Drawing Pads, Air Brushes, AIA or Blumberg Forms, Seasonal or Holiday Items, Dated Diaries/Agendas, Calendars, Refills, Special Quantity Orders, Custom Merchandise, Signage, Rubber Stamps, Embossers, Custom Printing or Custom Picture Framing.   Proofs are required on all custom printing, signage and rubber stamps or seals.   No Refunds on the following charges: Shipping, Assembly, Set-Up or Proof Fees.   Mismarked products may be removed from sale.   All Sale & Floor Sample Merchandise is Final Sale & is sold in “As Is” Condition with NO Returns and NO Exchanges.   Store Credits Expire 1 year From Original Issue Date and are can only be redeemed at the SAM FLAX location which issued the credit.
