The hallmark of Framatic frames is their simplicity of design and function. This is sometimes taken to mean strictly contemporary styling. However, Framatic's Bella frame proves that an equally simple and functional frame can still have a more decorative touch.

A square beaded pattern typically found as only one element of the ornate decoration on many antique wooden frames has been quoted on the face of a simple, narrow aluminum molding.

Framatic has developed a unique application technology that allows to combine the structural strength of an aluminum molding with the decorative possibilities usually available only with wood. The advantage is that a molding with a very narrow face, which would not be strong enough in wood, can be made into frames as large as 20"x24", without sacrificing the super-easy-to-use feature of all Framatic ready-made frames.

Thus, the Bella frame combines the simplicity and functional esthetic of other Framatic products but with subtly glamorous detailing. The look can soften contemporary artwork and photography, or be a more restrained alternative to an ornate decorative frame. Bella frames fit easily into both traditional and contemporary decor.

There are three colors - gold, silver and black - finished with an antique patina.

Functionally, the frame is super easy-to-use. With the Framatic Pivot-lok back system, artwork can be installed in seconds. The frame is offered in versions with an acid-free white with white core mat or without mats, but will accommodate more than 1/4" of depth, allowing for multiple mats or dimensional artwork. Sizes through 8x10 come with an easel back for table-top display. As with all Framatic frames, the glass is clean and ready-to-use.
