Girsberger Industries along with its suppliers apply every effort to be a responsible partner in the protection of our environment. Some examples being as follows: Wood suppliers both in the US and Europe are responsible partners in compliance with guidelines from the FSC, Forest Stewardship Council and its European counter part the PEFC. Chairs produced by Girsberger can be disassembled with basic tools for recycling purposes. Die-cast and plastic molded parts are easily identified with the exact material description for later disassembly and disposal. Most all non-structural plastic parts used are made exclusively from recyclable materials. There is no PVC in the chairs. The metal parts used, die cast aluminum and steel (both are recyclable). Girsberger Industries has also been proactive in presenting four fabric lines that are available in recycled goods, two lines of which are 100% recycled polyester, one line at 75% and other at line at 60% recycled polyester. Foam parts within the product are free from CFC.
